Raider Pride Concert Band Wins Sweepstakes

Band sweepstakes 17

Congratulations to the Raider Pride Concert Band, who received a Sweepstakes 1st Division Superior Rating from all six judges at the Region 3 UIL Concert and Sight-reading Contest held at Canton High School on March 1.

The SHS Symphonic Band has been hard at work on this very challenging music, and the band directors could not be more proud of their achievement. Special thanks to all of the parents, music lesson teachers, and of course the wonderful staff and administration for their support.  Below is a link to hear the recordings from the contest.
